General, Community, and Specific Plans

The focus of Mogavero Notestine Associates' involvement in the General Planning process has been related to community design and infill policy development and how these issues relate to other elements of the General Plan, in particular the land-use and transportation elements.

The thrust of these efforts has been in the creation of place. It is not how a place looks - it is how people interact in and with that place. We are long time advocates of community development that combats the modern trend toward sprawl, and believe completely that no planning effort can be successful unless it includes the valuable insights and full support of the community as a whole.
