Communities start with people and consensus building is an important part of the community building process. MNA believes that people have a right to participate in decisions that will substantially impact their community. When people have access to the decision-making process, the likelihood that they will support new projects is enhanced. This is just one reason why a successful plan must be community-based -- the realization of the residents' image of what they want their community to become.

With extensive experience in consensus building and collaborative decision-making with public agencies, private organizations, and individuals, MNA has found that participation in the planning and design process by end-users adds immeasurable value to the end result.

Mogavero Notestine Associates typically facilitates collaborative efforts by neighborhood associations, and many other public and private organizations in their design process working for merchant builders, government agencies and nonprofit organizations.
