Building is a manifestation of the hope that is part of the spirit of life. Paolo Soleri called it 'Matter Becoming Spirit.' Realizing this transformation requires two basic aspects: the connection between a project, its place and the human spirit; and, exemplary management, production and communication systems.

Every project has its own unique set of geographic, social, technical, political, ecological and economic circumstances. We seek to understand these circumstances clearly and use this understanding as our basis for design. We believe this approach provides a guide for projects that support individuals, families, communities and the larger environment.
