Transit Orientation

Good land use planning must accommodate the needs of both pedestrian and public transit transportation modes. The fact is that the environmental, social, and economic implications of urban sprawl and auto dependency are far greater than those of the energy consumed by buildings or the materials that go into them.

Using transit-oriented development, access to communities locked away by traffic congestion can been improved along with the quality of the pedestrian experience.

In our town planning, we emphasize user-friendly design and incorporate transit uses for pedestrians, bicycles, buses, cars, taxis and other modes of transportation. These reconfigured neighborhoods have provided examples of what can be achieved, and incentive for additional transit-oriented projects in our area.
