Ecological Building

In our firm's long history with sustainable design, one of the most gratifying realizations has been that our green approach also allows us to do a better job at the most essential reasons for us to build: to make people comfortable, to support human endeavors, to connect people with the spirit of life and to nurture inspiration and creativity in their various endeavors.

Green buildings shelter people without losing the balance between the need to protect them from the environment and the need to connect them to their environment. In this balance of connection and protection, green buildings make people comfortable, refreshing their bodies and their minds, and provide them opportunity to do the best they can at whatever it is they are doing.

Since 1981 we have completed numerous project that advanced this sustainable philosophy, each one progressing in its reach and effect. Today that reach includes sustainable urban planning, policy, design of gathering centers and the neighborhoods that surround them as well as every type of building use including every detail of site and building systems.
